To install an Anatomic Kingfisher mural to blend with the ‘Cross City’ arts theme started by our friends at Wylde Green Station who installed the Urban Fox
-
Install two (or more) planters for the platforms planted up for the Jubilee along with bunting
-
Celebrate Shenstone Village Festival on 2nd and 3rd July when the station will be included in the 'Open Garden Trail'
-
Develop the station building as a unique wedding venue and community space
-
Install a coffee bar on the platform
-
Plant meadow flowers in the grounds of the station
Biggest challenge
-
Gaining understanding from some railway staff that our efforts and investments will benefit the industry
Why do we do this?
This station is a beautiful asset to our village and we want to enhance it and ensure it is a connected part of the community and here for another hundred years, for the villagers and for rail enthusiasts everywhere!
